Is the packaging really discreet?
Yes. Every order ships in a plain, unmarked box or mailer with no product names, no logos and nothing on the outside that hints at what's inside. Your privacy is the whole point.
What shows on my bank or card statement?
Velvet Hour — just our store name. Never product names, and nothing that describes what you bought.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed the same day they're placed, and you'll get a tracking email as soon as yours is on its way. Shipping is $8, or free on orders of $59+.
Is the Rose toy rechargeable?
Yes. The Rose sits on a magnetic USB charging dock (included in the box) — no batteries to buy, ever.
What's the difference between the Red and Blush Rose?
Only the color. Same design, same functions — pick the one you'd rather see on your nightstand.
Is the Lipstick Mini really that discreet?
Completely. The Lipstick Mini is a vibrator inside a lipstick case with a gold band. It looks like makeup, travels like makeup, and is waterproof and USB rechargeable.
How does the Duo work for couples?
The Duo is a flexible U-shaped wearable worn during intimacy, so both partners feel the vibration. It includes a wireless remote, so either of you can be in control.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
Tell us within 30 days of delivery and choose a replacement or full store credit under the Velvet Hour Promise; you will not be asked to ship anything back.
Are your products body-safe?
The Lipstick Mini is body-safe silicone (maker-specified) and waterproof, so it washes with warm water and mild soap. For the Rose and the Duo, we don't publish a material or waterproof claim we can't verify — wipe them clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, dry before storing, and don't submerge them. Keep charging docks, cables and contacts dry, and use water-based lubricant with silicone pieces.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes — you must be 18 or older to shop at Velvet Hour.
What if I don't love it?
That's what the Velvet Hour Promise is for. Within 30 days of delivery, contact us and choose a replacement or a full store credit. We never ask you to return a used item — for hygiene reasons used products can't be resold, so the promise is handled without return shipping.
Which one should I start with?
New to toys? Start with The Rose — its air-pulse suction is the sensation most first-timers say they wish they'd found sooner. Want something classic and discreet, start with The Lipstick Mini. Shopping for two? The Duo is made to be worn together.
Is it loud?
We don't quote a decibel rating, because the makers don't publish one we can stand behind — be wary of any seller who does. These are small personal massagers designed for private use; lower settings are quieter. A practical home check: if you can hear it clearly through a closed door, it is louder than it should be — contact us and we'll sort it out.
How do I clean and care for my toy?
The Lipstick Mini is waterproof (maker-specified): wash with warm water and mild soap, dry, done. For the Rose and the Duo, wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap and dry before storing — we don't claim a waterproof rating for them, so don't submerge them. Whatever you use, keep charging docks, cables and contacts dry, use water-based lubricant with silicone pieces, and charge fully before the first use.
Can I leave a review? Will my name be shown?
Yes, and only in the form you choose. A few days after your order is delivered, we send one short email with a review form — and at most one reminder after that. Your review appears under the first name or initials you enter; your full name and email address are never published. Reviews are words only — we never ask for photos. Every review on our Reviews page comes from a verified Velvet Hour order, and we read each one before it appears.
